Synchronizing Template Workspaces

After changing the configuration of a template workspace, the synchronize process should be manually run to push the new changes to all children of the template workspace.  To synchronize changes to the template with children of that template perform the following steps:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to System Administration   | Template Maintenance.

  2. Select the template workspace that needs to be synchronized by highlighting it in the list and click the Synchronize button in the upper left hand corner.
     
Depending on the complexity of the template this process can take a long time and slow down ClientSpace use.  Synchronization of Templates should be run either in the morning or at the end of the day to minimize impact on system users.
