Product Version: CORE – Release 48 Notes - The following Tasks have been completed/fixed in this release.


Task 37260                                                                                                                                      


Saving a MailMerge Admin record of type EXCEL or WORD without an attached document produces error    

Resolution:                                                                                                    

Resolved an issue with Merge Admin records where Saving a MailMerge Admin record of type EXCEL or WORD without an attached document produced an error.  The system has also been enhanced to compare the attached document type to the Merge Type and validate the file types match, otherwise the system will alert the user that there is a mismatch.

Outgoing Email Template    

Resolution:                                                                                                    

Notification of email activities has been enhanced to utlilize Email Templates if one is properly configured. Template configuration should be as follows:

  • Code: CRMNOTE
  • Template Type: Not Triggered
  • Subject: Configurable text - allows the use of one replace field - 
    • {CRMNoteSubject} the text from the CRM Note Subject field
  • Body: Configurable text - allows the use of three replace fields   
    • {CRMNoteBody} the text from the CRM Note Body field   
    • {CRMNoteEmailSignature}   
    • {CRMNoteSentTo}
  • From Email Override: The email will normally be sent from the current user.  If that User does not have an email address (unlikely), the From Email Override will be used
  • If the template contains only the above replace fields (and no other Html or text), the outgoing email will be identical to the email sent prior to this change, with the exception that it will be an Html email, not plain text (primary difference being the line breaks)
  • When saving a CRM Note of type Email:  
    • The note will be saved to the system (no changes)  
    • If email is to be sent, a test for a published "CRMNOTE" Email Template is made  
    • If the Email Template cannot be located, normal Email Notification will be issued, as it did before this change  
    • If the Email Template is located, the Subject and Body replace fields will be populated from the CRM Note form  
    • Email Notification will be issued, with attachments if applicable


Task 37295   - ENHANCEMENT                                                                                                          


Docusign Scheduled Process    

Resolution:                                                                                                    

Add an 'IsSystem' field to the scheduled process table.  If this value is true, the system will disable all key scheduled process detail page fields to prevent unauthorized modifications to those fields.  Changes to those field values will have to be made by NetWise.  If you find you have a scheduled process that is marked as a system process but requires configuration - create an extranet case to request the changes.

Email Template deletion

Resolved an issue where a foreign key constraint error message would appear when you attempt to delete an email template.

IsDeveloper User access via User Dashboard

NetWise administrative user accounts have been secured.

Next Enhancements

ClientSpace NEXT has been enhanced so that the dataform header (black bar at top) will display Dataform Name : Decode - this decode can either be a custom decode function, such as is used on the employee dataform to display employee name, or if no decode is configured the system will default to  Dataform Name : Default Attribute (for the dataform you are on). IF no Decode / Default Attribute exists, Dataform Name will be displayed by itself.

Grid Columns on Mobile

A property has been added on the grid column which allows NetWise to be able to specify "Hide on Resize". These columns will drop off the grid one at a time, from right to left, as the page width resizes.

Defensive Code on the Filter Page builder

An issue has been resolved in NEXT where an error would be thrown if a link was configured to open a report filter page for a report that had no filter page configured.  In this situation NEXT will now provide the user with a message that "Fields have not been configured for this filter page."

Inactive Fields are now included in the data packet that's sent to the server when saving a dataform.

Org field on Workspace time records

Resolved a NEXT issue where creating a time record on the workspace landing page, by either clicking the start button, or clicking the plus button to create a manual time record, would not populate the related Org field.

Quick Type More Search Error

Resolved an issue where in some circumstances, quickly typing in a "More" search chiclet and using the enter key to apply the filter would cause unexpected behavior.

Weirdness / UI issues in CORE Dashboards

Several core issues were corrected in NEXT- one where the Chiclet for task type filter would duplicate when selected as a filter under the More option on the task dashboard.  A second issue was corrected where long labels would wrap under their associated fields when selecting filters from the More option in NEXT on the Task Manager dashboard.

Tabbed Form displaying as inactive when secured

Resolved an issue in NEXT where if you secure a tabbed dataform, and only give view rights at the form level, but give view/add/edit rights to a field on that form, the field level security wasn't being respected and the field would remain view only.

Email Template save

Resolved an issue in NEXT where if you selected an email template notification type of "Slack" the system would throw an error.


Task 37091  - ENHANCEMENT                                                                                                                                        


Marketo Setup - Phase 1   

Resolution:                                                                                                    

ClientSpace has been enhanced with a new API integration to Marketo. 

In Phase one of this integration we will be creating Marketo Lead records by pushing contact information from ClientSpace into the Marketo system. 

These ClientSpace contact records are then stamped with the Marketo ID allowing information synchronization from ClientSpace to Marketo via a scheduled process.

Multiform Search Grid: Hide On Resize    

Resolution:                                                                                                    

NEXT has been enhanced to resize multiform search grids, hiding columns on demand as the application window resizes going from landscape to portrait on a mobile device.  this allows the application to utilize the available space more appropriately, instead of displaying many columns that are too small to be usable.
