How To Turn Off Clipboard Access Warning For Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer has an annoying habit when you copy and paste from a web page, of prompting for permissions to the clipboard every time.  Here's how to remove the prompt for good.

Step-by-step guide

  1. From an open Internet Explorer Window navigate to Tools | Internet Options.
  2. The Internet Options Window will appear. Click on the Security Tab.
  3.  Click on Trusted Sites.
  4.  Click the Custom Level… button.
  5.  Scroll down to “Allow Programmatic clipboard access". It is found very low on the list under Scripting
  6.  Click Enable.
  7.  Click OK
  8.  Click Yes to save setting for this zone
  9.  Click OK to exit Internet Options
