How To Turn Off Clipboard Access Warning For Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer has an annoying habit when you copy and paste from a web page, of prompting for permissions to the clipboard every time. Here's how to remove the prompt for good.
Step-by-step guide
- From an open Internet Explorer Window navigate to Tools | Internet Options.
- The Internet Options Window will appear. Click on the Security Tab.
- Click on Trusted Sites.
- Click the Custom Level… button.
- Scroll down to “Allow Programmatic clipboard access". It is found very low on the list under Scripting
- Click Enable.
- Click OK
- Click Yes to save setting for this zone
- Click OK to exit Internet Options
