Parent-Child Relationship Between Dataforms, Child Form Link Does Not Appear On Parent

Problem

You have added a Parent-Child relationship between two dataforms by Adding a Parent Form field to the Child dataform.  The new field appears to be configured properly, but the Releated dataform dropdown still does not appear on the Parent Form.

Cause

 Parent Form is set to suppress the Child form dropdown

Solution

Allow Child Form Dropdown

  1. Go to System Administration  | Dataform Admin or from the dataform go to the Quick Admin  button and choose Form Properties then find the Parent Dataform in question.
  2. Select the form in the list and click Form Properties
  3. Un-Check the 'Surpress Child Form Dropdown' checkbox and save the record.
