Add Codes Link Is Appearing On The Client Master, Should Be Hidden

Problem

You want to use the newer version of the Pricing Console, which should remove the 'Add Codes' link on the Client Master page, but display it on the Pricing Console. When you configure a Pricing Console link, the 'Add Codes' link is still visible.

Cause

The javascript functionality that hides the 'Add Codes' link from the Client Master page requires a specific 'Pricing Console' link on the Client Master. The newly configured link does not have the same Unique Identifier, so the hide functionality never gets applied to the Add Codes link.

Solution

Use the already existing Custom Link. (Pricing Console)

  1. Go to System Admin > Advanced > Custom Links.
    The Configure Links list is displayed.
  2. If you have already created a new Custom Link Configuration on the Client Master page, delete it.
  3. Search for the pre-existing link by selecting More > Show > All.
  4. Look for a Table name of Client Master.
  5. There should be an inactive Custom link (bold and italics) for Pricing Console.
  6. Edit the link, select the Active option and change the Display Value if need be, then Save the record.
