Problem

You attempt to make a change to a user profile and during Save of the profile the system throws a script error 'Object doesn't support this property or method'.

Cause

ActiveX Filtering is turned on in the Client's Browser

Solution

Remove ActiveX Filtering.

  1. Check to see if ActiveX filtering is enabled in the browser by going to Tools | ActiveX Filtering to see if this option is checked.
  2. If enabled, Click on this to disable filtering. 
  3. The checkmark next to this option should uncheck.
  4. Save the profile.
